Our Staff Christmas, Natural Beauty at Christmas Time & My Dream Gift Guide

The magic of Christmas…

After months of planning and anticipation, Christmas is finally here! This time of year makes everything feel magical and special… when you’re surrounded by sparkling Christmas decorations, even the most mundane tasks become more enjoyable!

One of my favourite things about Christmas is the countless styling opportunities it offers. Candles, dinnerware, baked treats, twinkling lights… they can all be styled in various ways to produce an absolutely spectacular Christmas setting. With all that on offer, it is no wonder I am always inspired to host a collection of end of year events, all with different Christmas themes!

This month, I share images from my recent candy wonderland staff dinner, a Christmas theme inspired by natural treasures, and the personal gift guide of my dreams.

Now is the time to grab a glass of champagne, pop your favourite festive tunes on repeat, and immerse yourself in the Christmas sparkle and cheer.

I hope you have a special Christmas full of happiness and love.

Our recent staff Christmas dinner transported everyone to a candy wonderland! I was inspired by the gorgeous pink tartan scarves, which looked perfect as table runners. Their colouring is so fantastic… after finding them, all my other candy themed styling ideas seamlessly fell into place!

There is an abundance of natural beauty in New Zealand at this time of year, and I adore using nature’s gifts and treasures for my styling purposes. There is something very comforting about the natural greens and browns you see within this shoot, and to my absolute delight, they are also the perfect canvas for sparkly accessories. To spread a little extra Christmas joy, I added in some festive treats!

I do love the look of Christmas gifts beautifully wrapped and arranged under the tree. I can’t deny that it is also nice when the gifts just perfectly meet your needs… or your heart’s desires. This guide contains a collection of items I would absolutely love to receive as gifts… one can dream, right?
