Easter for Children
There is nothing quite like the uncontainable excitement of children as they await the arrival of Easter Bunny. When my children were younger we enjoyed planning an Easter egg hunt, and the looks on their faces as they ran around the yard still brings me happiness today.
A few years ago I planned an Easter children’s party in the theme of Peter Rabbit, and wanted to share a few images. I used wheat grass strategically on the table to give the illusion of lush greenness, and I think it worked quite well with the beautiful tulips, roses, miniature teddies and other accessories.
This year, Easter may look a little different for many of you. But it can still be an exciting time for children and Easter Egg hunts can still go ahead as planned! Your own DIY skills may get put to good use.
I found it quite satisfying involving my children in the creative element of special occasions. For Easter we would spend many hours painting hollow eggs, this would also help shift their focus away from chocolate and sweets!
Enjoy xx
