To celebrate this upcoming Valentines Day, I styled a few special moments which help embody the thought of love. The use of red roses is classic, and it’s not often that a celebration calls for such a colour as strongly.

I believe that Valentines Day is a nice reminder to celebrate self-love, not just loving someone else. That’s why if you find yourself without a Valentine, well, you have one - yourself! So, consider planning something special, and maybe the below images will help to inspire your creativity.

The first image below shows off beautiful Cartier jewellery and Cartier signature packaging. These special pieces are worn by me every day, and signify special moments in my life. The second showcases decadent Kāpiti Black Doris Plum & Crème Fraîche Icecream in silver bowls, sitting on a Ralph Lauren tray. I’ve styled these settings with beautiful red roses, and this shot in particular includes garden flowers, cherries. and garden strawberries.

The third image shows beautiful red candles with a fragrance especially made for me, from Notre Vie Candles. They spell like delicate fresh pine. And the fourth image shows a lovely light cocktail using black Scapegrace gin - yes, the gin is actually black straight from the bottle, and turns a beautiful pink colour when mixed with the other ingredients.
