Magical Stationery

I believe there’s something truly wonderful about the tactile nature of writing by hand. No computer screens, internet or email to clog your brain with distractions, just the lovely smell of fresh paper. Something very important to me is quality stationery, and each new year requires a new notebook to plan goals and activities. When writing, I’ll pair my notebook with one of the beautiful fountain pens from my collection.

I wanted to share a few special images of my diaries, pens and desk accessories that I’ve collected over the last few years. I love how the faux crocodile texture works with the tones of the pens. All of these diaries are from Smythson, an English company which crafts beautiful small leather goods. The pens below are a combination of Smythson, Parker, S.T. Dupont, Cartier, and Mont Blanc. The notebook colour palette I chose for 2020 is gold.
