Styling Christmas Gifts
When styling a house for Christmas, showing off gifts is an essential part of a festive display. Instead of wrapping empty boxes, each of my gifts is a real present for a member of my family. This means that each year, I’ll aim to finish Christmas shopping in November. While decorating for Christmas in early December, I’ll add small collections of gifts to different areas of the house. Each area will be themed accordingly.
I wanted to share the wrapping and accents I have chosen this year.
Enjoy xx
Our Hallway
This year I lined our hallway with gifts in shades of gold and silver and hints of green. These shades match the China cabinet in between them wonderfully. Silver and gold ribbons from Scarlet Ribbons adorn the gifts, combined with bells, star decorations, and conifer leaves. Both gold and silver paper is from Rifle Paper Co.
In Front Of Our Fireplace
This lovely display is the centrepiece of our lounge, and combines beautiful red stockings with red and silver gifts. The glitter paper is from Amazon, and the red and silver paper is from Scarlet Ribbons. Each gift is wrapped in a red ribbon also from Scarlet Ribbons, with a conifer leaf accent, and adorable snowmen perch amongst the pile.
Our Study
For this small collection of gifts in our study, I chose white glitter paper from Amazon and silver printed paper from The White Company. Details on each gift include red glass decorations, silver glitter snowflake decorations, silver bells, and silver ribbon from Scarlet Ribbons.
Under The Christmas Tree
Each year I have a beautiful large tree delivered from Mount Gabriel Christmas Tree Farms. This year, to match my assortment of silver and red Christmas Tree decorations, I went with white, silver and red glitter paper from Amazon. I combined these with divine holly-themed Rifle Paper Co. paper, and gifts received red ribbon from Scarlet Ribbons and bells. The presents are styled around a very old wooden ski sled, and are draped with berry branches.
