Pretty Pinks, Let There Be Light & My Easter

Gorgeous autumn colours, Easter treats, and long weekends - could April get much better?!

In this newsletter, I share my recent Mother’s Day inspired shoot (which you are welcome to show your friends and family to provide a gentle reminder that the day is approaching), the gorgeous, glowing outcome of my latest repurposing project, and my Easter table!

I hope you have had a month filled with happiness…and chocolate!

As Mother’s Day approaches, I’m looking forward to a lovely day with my family, and a few indulgent treats!  Perhaps a delicious breakfast of creamy scrambled eggs, and later in the evening a glass of Louis Roederer Brut Rose Vintage champagne - I hope my family are reading this!

I would also love to spend a little time enjoying tasks that make my heart sing… planning out my winter rooftop garden, creating a new autumnal cocktail, or maybe doing a little baking to fill our home with gorgeous aromas. However you spend your day, I hope it is full of warmth and love.

One thing that is absolutely essential in my home is candles. I love the gorgeous colours and the glow they can add to a room - particularly at this time of year when they can accompany the autumn evening light. Something else I try to integrate into my home is the art of repurposing and reusing things, as I relish the opportunity to give something a second life. I had recently been holding onto a range of used vessels, knowing that they would come in handy for a project, and I was right - they were just perfect to repurpose as candles!

All my Easter planning was finally put to the test! Mother Nature provided me with a beautiful autumn day - perfect both for hosting my guests and for enhancing my table setting. Overall, my Easter consisted of lots of fun and laughter, gorgeous roses, a beautiful pink table setting, and copious amounts of chocolate and dessert!
