Autumn Dinner Party
Now that we are fully ensconced and well into autumn here in New Zealand, it was the perfect opportunity to gather with friends and host a warming autumn dinner party - not that I need an excuse - I love to entertain!
The rich autumnal colours are a delight to work with as they add such depth and beauty to a room. One of my wonderful flower suppliers, Van Lier Nurseries, were able to provide these exquisite roses for my dinner party table.
I had such fun planning the menu, keeping in mind that if possible, it is a lovely touch to incorporate food items that complement your environment. This adds an additional dimension to your table. Your guests will, quite possibly, be blissfully unaware of the extra effort you have expended to create such a gorgeous dining environment - it is these unique touches that I simply love to incorporate.
Autumn Dinner Party Menu

Pear and blue cheese savoury galettes
Slow roasted Sunday chicken w sauteed kale, brussel sprouts and leek

May you have a wonderful time planning your next celebration with family and friends.
Warmest wishes,
