This is unlikely to come as a surprise to anyone - I absolutely adore creating a gorgeous table setting! I had every intention of doing so with this shoot, however I got a little distracted by some of my favourite things...I guess it’s my way of playing.

For this recent shoot, these gorgeous pink roses from Bloom Brokers and Van Lier Nurseries had to take centre stage. I am obsessed with their delicate pink tones - just looking at them transports me to a better place. To enhance these beautiful tones I housed my roses in a combination of silver buckets and crystal vases. The silver buckets allowed me to utilise my range of antique silver accessories, and the crystal vases showcased the rose’s vibrant green foliage - this added a burst of contrasting colour whilst maintaining the elegant texture of the rose petals.

I had tremendous fun fossicking through some of my favourite things, piling them up on the table, wondering which items to include in this shoot. My silver antiques were certainly at home with my pretty white dinner sets. To utilise my matching wine cooler, I couldn’t resist incorporating a bottle of Moet Rosé; it has the most pretty pink label that perfectly matched the roses.

Finally, it wouldn’t be a Sandra Kaminski shoot without the inclusion of candles! I chose subtle white candles that sit wonderfully in my crystal candle holders - when lit, they produce the most beautiful subtle glow.
