Christmas Throughout the House

Over the years, I’ve introduced many small traditions into my Christmas preparations and the annual delivery of the fresh Christmas tree is always a special day. Ashley from Mt Gabriel Christmas Trees has been supplying me with beautiful trees for over 16 years in fact! The house fills with the unmistakable scent of pine and the next few hours are a flurry of twinkling decorations, fairy lights and ribbons as I begin to trim the tree and decorate the house. 

This year I have opted for a silvery theme, with glittery pine cones, snowflakes and icicles nestled alongside glass baubles and fairylights on the tree and beautiful heavy silver paper and dark grey ribbons for my wrapping. My Kosta Boda snowball tealight candle holders are always a beautiful addition to create a festive feel and I’ve been enjoying the stunning red and pink roses of the season throughout the house.
