Pretty Christmas Things!

…and there is no better time to do so than at Christmas time. As you know, I have spent some months planning our Christmas day! Even though I am outnumbered by my husband and our two sons, I will still create pretty little pockets of beauty within our home in varied ways, and incorporate whimsical dreamy elements into my Christmas.

This year I was exultant to discover Christmas prettiness in abundance courtesy of English artist Susannah Garrod - her illustrations are simply stunning; they transport you to a magical world of delicate Christmas beauty. Entertaining is about using the things that you love, and I am eagerly awaiting to use these swoon-worthy dessert plates designed by Susannah Garrod - a purchase from Anthropologie that I could not resist!

When styling this shoot I was fortunate to have a garden full of roses to perfectly complement these products. It was such a joy to incorporate pink in this pre-Christmas shoot. I will transition to a new colour palette for my Christmas day table, while still incorporating products from this range.
