Amid a cascade of roses and fairy lights, we were thrilled to host the Dreaming In Petals book launch last week, finally giving my book the official welcome to the world it’s been waiting for!

There was the unmistakable (and delightful) sense of celebration in the air and it was a joy to be able to share the occasion with wonderful company. A deluge of flowers, delicious refreshments and a convivial atmosphere set the backdrop to an evening dedicated to Dreaming In Petals.

Our friends at Scapegrace, East Imperial, Terra Sancta and Fleck Mineral Water all generously shared their beautiful products for guests to indulge in. I adored creating this gorgeous pomegranate and cranberry welcome cocktail. Grazing tables and little mountains of desserts were both stacked high with treats!

Of course, the event needed spectacular flowers and I wanted to create an abundance of pink blooms to envelope guests with their beauty! The space was brimming with roses in a multitude of beautiful varieties and the centrepiece arrangements also included peonies, hydrangeas and Queen Anne’s lace, nestled amongst yet more glorious roses. Not to mention the bucket loads of velvety rose petals scattered around the arrangements and throughout the venue.

It was a very special evening and after putting so much love into creating Dreaming In Petals… it was an event I was very honoured to celebrate!
