Introducing My Themes for Christmas 2020.

Christmas is a very special time for me - it’s a time to celebrate my loved ones and friends, and style my home and events in unique ways. Regardless of what’s happening around me, I find Christmas to be magical and something to look forward to.

Each year, I choose specific elements which will flow through the various Christmas events I hold. These themes also influence how I decorate my home and plan my shoots. I’m thrilled to share two of the elements I’ll be using for 2020 with you. There are of course more elements which I will use, but these are just a couple which stand out.

Tartan

Tartan has seen a resurgence in popularity, and its unique pattern will be used in a few of my events. In preparation, here’s a peak at beautiful tartan things I’ve bought into recent shoots.

Natural/DIY

Christmas will look very different this year for many people. Using what you have and making your own items will be a theme throughout my shoots and events. For me, it’s about finding precious things which may have been tucked away or forgotten about in your cupboards and storage, and using DIY principles to create new things while keeping costs down.

Christmas Planning

There are more lovely elements which I’ll bring into my shoots and events - I’ll share them in the coming weeks.

Now is a great time to start planning for Christmas and thinking about what it looks like for you. I’ll be sharing ideas for table decorations, trees, refreshments, home styling, gifts and more - I hope you enjoy!
