Mother's Day Morning Tea

Mothers Day is around the corner here in New Zealand and is such a lovely occasion to honour the women and maternal figures in our lives. In a nod to femininity, what better way to celebrate these treasured ladies, than with a beautiful morning tea!

I especially love gathering for tea, whether a long and leisurely high tea or as in this case, a light morning tea, both provide a lovely excuse to rifle through my fine china collection and I had fun choosing my favourites for the occasion!

I regularly enjoy Harney & Sons tea, so was particularly delighted to see they had released a Mothers Day Tea! Like a bouquet in a teacup, it’s floral blend of rose petals, chamomile flowers, cornflowers and orange seemed a perfect match for the delicate arrangements of rose, dahlia, pansy and zinnia collected together.
