Pretty Mother's Day Place Setting

For me, creating a place setting for your guest is a very special part of any dining occasion.  Whether it be a dinner party, high tea, or a relaxed coffee with friends, a beautiful place setting subtly sets the tone and welcomes your guest to their dining experience.

I often try to incorporate some of my favourite things, especially for Mother’s Day - gorgeous perfume bottles (various shapes and sizes);  antique silver cutlery, and if you have one, a silver charger plate for Mother’s place setting;  a little ‘favour’ for each guest is a lovely act of kindness and always appreciated;  repurposed items such as delicate bags you may have collected from shopping adventures;  and it goes without saying, a touch of elegance and shimmering light with the addition of tealight candles!

Pretty shades of pink and a vast variety of blooms will add layers of texture to your table.  Whenever possible I simply love to include delightful individual floral touches at each place setting.  You can use sweet miniature vases (or little jars, whatever you have to hand), so every guest has their own touch of beauty to enjoy.
