My Gold & Green Christmas

The lavish warmth of gold’s and green’s are undeniably a Christmas favourite; these colours speak of a traditional Christmas, simple yet elegant, magnificent and lush!

I love to explore new ideas and colours, no matter the season or celebration. However at Christmas time, one cannot ignore the customary traditions that we naturally associate with the festive season, in this case, Christmas colours. I’ll often (in fact, always!) introduce a different and perhaps unconventional colour palette as I plan my theming for the upcoming festive season. There is however always one room within our home that I simply love to style with treasures and beautiful Christmas decorations that are the essence of a true heritage Christmas - one glance, and you know it is Christmas time.

As always remember to include the shimmer of candlelight, if possible place these close-by your gold decorative elements, the reflective twinkle of light against gold is truly magical. Seed lights will provide a similar and equally stunning effect. Why not use both!
