My Son's 18th Birthday Lunch Setting

My home hosted family and friends earlier this month to celebrate my son’s 18th birthday (I can’t quite believe my youngest is 18!). We planned a cosy midday celebration with some of the special people in his life, and as you’ll see from the images we were fortunate to enjoy a beautiful crisp day, with rays of winter sunshine streaming through our dining room.

The simplistic elegance of white has understated beauty.  For the table setting, I chose a selection of different favourite flowers which work well together, the variety adding textural elements.  Additionally, having many flowers in a tighter space calls for minimal foliage, though you’ll spot eucalyptus and sprigs for additional texture.
