Natural Beauty at Christmas Time

When I think of Christmas, I dream of sparkling balls and candlelight, with simple natural elements… and everything needs to be oh so tactile.  It is Christmas after all and the senses, including touch, need to be included. 

Strangely, there is not a flower in sight in this shoot, just simple green Buxus placed in these adorable pure wool bags from TheWoolPot with natural moss to cover the potting mix.

I love these huge mercury balls from The White Company and French Country - they certainly set the scene, and without doubt reflect the candlelight perfectly.  This is what makes everything so sparkly and beautiful!

Be sure to keep any other elements simple so not to overwhelm or upstage the balls.
