Pretty Pinks for Mother’s Day

Here in New Zealand, Mother’s Day is celebrated in early May. It’s a wonderful opportunity to share a moment of gratitude and love with those who are, or represent, mother figures in one's life.

For this shoot I was fortunate to have an array of flowers flourishing in my garden, just waiting to share their beauty; a selection of pretty pinks and delicate tones seem to naturally complement this celebration.  The last of the dahlias from my rooftop garden also magnificently rose to the occasion!

I simply love this floral wrapping paper from Rifle Paper; their paper selection is vast and I always manage to source the perfect match to suit the occasion.  Although, truth be known, if I spot a new range of Rifle Paper that I adore I can’t resist the temptation to purchase it, so it will sit in my collection and wait to be used when the appropriate occasion arises.  One can never have too much wrapping paper, right?

Wishing you a Mother’s Day full of warmth, love, relaxation, a little bit of fuss from others, and moments of joy to fill your soul.
