Seasonal Delights

There are only a few types of flowers I really don’t like…it wouldn’t be right to love them all. For fear of getting told off, I will keep those varieties under wraps!

I think you can pretty well guess my least liked varieties as I tend not to show them.  What I want are flowers that work as a team, flowers that don’t alienate other flowers and that shine no matter what.  Spring is an amazing time for that, and if you don’t have a garden to tend, then your local florist or market is your makeshift garden.  Everything is perfect and in large quantities, just what we need at this time of the year - to put it simply, flowers make us happy and florists connect us to Mother Nature.

We all gravitate to flowers, they change the energy in a room and that's a good thing. This holiday season try to have flowers in every room that your family may spend time in.  I am not saying that flowers will solve the niggle between you and your sister, but at least there is somewhere beautiful to lay your eyes while grappling over the turkey…plus, it's a great conversation starter!
