My Easter

The Easter celebrations are complete for another year…but it is likely we are all still recovering from the chocolate consumption - my children particularly!

This year, I celebrated Easter by preparing lunch for family and friends. I decided upon a bright, vibrant pink theme, which allowed me to utilise my lovely pink and white checked scarves that I purchased earlier this year. I was incredibly fortunate to have access to the most gorgeous selection of roses in multiple glorious shades of pink, which looked fantastic enclosed in my lovely french inspired white jugs. My new Ralph Lauren stemware mimicked the checked scarves perfectly.

Now to the other essential Easter element…the chocolate and desserts! The 70th Edition Lindt bunnies were an Easter must-have - their glittery, light rose coloured wrapping was the perfect accompaniment to my pink table. My chocolate mousse was, of course, non-negotiable within the dessert lineup. I also purchased a gorgeous sticky date cake from The Pantry, which was almost (but not quite) too beautiful to eat...somehow everyone managed.

Since the dessert crumbs have now been brushed aside, I am already thinking ahead to my next beautiful, autumnal dinner occasion…although, if you’re anything like my guests who walked away with treats in hand, your Easter festivities might still be ongoing!
