Seedlip Cooling Summer Cocktail
Summer is well and truly here in New Zealand, ushering in long, bright days of sunshine and soaring temperatures. What better way to cool down, than with a delightfully quenching, Summery cocktail.
For this cocktail, I opted to use Seedlip’s Grove 42 as a base. This non-alcoholic, citrus heavy mix is a beautiful blend of cleverly balanced and distilled premium ingredients. Flavourful and sophisticated, it acts wonderfully as the base.
Non-alcoholic cocktails are a perfect way to stay hydrated in the heat and I particularly love the addition of refreshing watermelon, lemon and ice.
Ingredients:
2 parts watermelon
1 part citrus Seedlip
1 part lemon juice
A few ice cubes
Your favourite glass
Method:
Select your glassware; I’ve used Ralph Lauren - a firm favourite of mine, for this cocktail. Chill your glass first to increase the cooling effect.
Place all ingredients into the blender and process until smooth, then pour into your glass. Garnish using a small segment of watermelon and a berry or two on a small cocktail skewer.
Sip slowly and enjoy!
