Winter Dinner

These Winter nights call for connecting with friends and family, reminding us that even though it’s cold and bleak outside, the home can be a respite of comfort and warmth.

There’s nothing quite like welcoming and sharing an evening over an inviting table setting and I really enjoyed putting this beautiful selection of winter florals together.

You’ll see exquisite peach and apricot David Austin roses nestled together with stems of fragrant stock, as well as other rose varieties in a range of beautiful damask pinks, salmons, earthy terracotta and cream. For foliage, I’ve used a mix of eucalyptus and fern as well as the final addition of winter berry for a seasonal accent.

If you’re curious about what was in store for guests, the menu was as follows:

Entree

Homemade roasted tomato and basil soup

Main

Ginger garlic baked salmon

Potato gratin

Lemon scented carrots

Garden Salad

Dessert

Lemon citrus tart

Wines

Chard Farm Maria Rose

Chard Farm Judge & Jury Chardonnay

Chard Farm The Viper Pinot Noir

Have you got any winter events planned with friends or family?
